  Ultimate Edition

Feb 3, 2026 - Version 1.46 released [Release log]

MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service) allows users to send messages containing multimedia content like images, audio, and video, extending beyond the limitations of SMS (Short Message Service) which is limited to text.

MMS is a valuable feature for sending richer and more engaging messages by allowing the inclusion of multimedia content, offering more versatility and engagement compared to traditional SMS messaging.

Note: The standard maximum size for an MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service) message is generally 300 KB to 600 KB. While 300 KB is the most common "smallest common denominator" to ensure delivery across all carriers and older devices, modern networks in the US and Canada often support up to 1 MB to 2 MB.

Compatible:
-Windows 10 or above
-Windows server 2012 or above

Including both 32-bit and 64-bit versions.
Requirements:

Advantages of Using MMS:

  • Enhanced Marketing: MMS can be used for marketing purposes, allowing businesses to send promotional images, videos, or other multimedia content to their customers.
  • Increased Engagement: The use of multimedia content in MMS messages can lead to higher engagement rates compared to plain text SMS messages.
  • Longer Character Limits: MMS messages do not have a standard character limit like SMS, allowing for more detailed and comprehensive messaging.
  • Global Usage: MMS is a widely used technology, with a large number of phones having the capacity to accept MMS messages.

Disadvantages of Using MMS:

  • MMS is not as cost effective as SMS. If you plan on sending mass text messages to hundreds of potential customers, the cost can quickly add up.
  • Some people don’t have MMS messaging enabled, which means they’ll be unable to receive your texts, wasting your money and time.
  • You may need to hire someone to create your visual media content, like a graphic designer, thus increasing your cost further.
